Steve Morz

Steve Morz is a singer songwriter (acoustic guitar and vocals) based in New York. Originally from the UK, Steve moved to New York with his family in 2000 after living in Israel for eight years.

Along with his own rock band Mea Culpa, Steve worked with the French singer Anne Pigalle as guitarist and songwriter, when she was signed to Trevor Horn’s ZTT record label. They toured in the UK and France including Rock’n’France Summer tour, covering all the major cities across the country.

While I Israel, Steve became guitarist and songwriter with Alona Daniel, playing all live concerts and TV appearances for the Sdakim (Cracks) album. He also appeared with Shalom Hanok, one of Israel’s most renowned musicians, as guitarist on the TV show ‘Tonight with Gidi Gov. Steve has also made several collaborations with friend and film composer Frank Elfman.

After writing extensively over the Summer and Fall of 2009, Steve has a new set of songs he is performing for the first time as a solo acoustic artist.
